Expert Electrical Rewiring in Blount County, AL

Older homes across Blount County, Oneonta, Blountsville, and the surrounding communities were built long before today's electrical loads were a consideration. Many of those homes still carry wiring that was never designed to power modern appliances, HVAC systems, and electronics. When that wiring ages, insulation breaks down, connections loosen, and the risk of shorts or electrical fires grows. Electrical rewiring replaces that outdated wiring throughout part or all of your home, giving your system a clean foundation that handles today's demand safely. At LeBlanc Electric, we started this company because we believe customers deserve straight answers and honest work. We assess what your home actually needs, explain it in plain language, and get the wiring right. We serve homeowners in Oneonta, Cleveland, Allgood, Remlap, Altoona, Gardendale, Fultondale, Pinson, Leeds, Moody, Cullman, Guntersville, and throughout Blount County. If your breakers trip often, your lights flicker, or your outlets feel warm, call us before a small warning sign becomes a serious problem.

Electrical Rewiring FAQ

Common questions about electrical rewiring in Blount County, AL.

Your home likely needs rewiring if breakers trip repeatedly, outlets feel warm, or you notice a burning smell with no clear source. These are signs the wiring behind your walls can no longer handle normal household demand safely.

Not necessarily. Experienced electricians can often run new wiring through attic and crawl space access with targeted openings rather than opening every wall. Homes across Oneonta and Blount County vary in layout, so the approach depends on your specific home.

In many cases, yes, though sections of your home will be without power while work is active in those areas. LeBlanc Electric will walk you through what to expect before work begins.

No, partial rewiring is an option when only certain circuits or areas of the home have outdated or damaged wiring. A full assessment tells you exactly what needs to be replaced and what can stay.

Flickering lights that happen without an obvious trigger often point to failing wiring connections or overloaded circuits. Rewiring the affected circuits addresses the root cause rather than masking the symptom.

LeBlanc Electric was built on the belief that customers deserve honest work and straight answers. We serve communities across Blount County and the surrounding area and treat every home the way we would want our own treated.

Hunter did a fantastic job running electrical at my office. Very honest and friendly guy. Would recommend!

Mason Fleming Google review · March 2026

We had the best experience working with Hunter during our kitchen remodel. He came out to our home several times throughout the renovation, and he was absolutely wonderful to work with every step of the way. He ran all new wiring for our under-cabinet lighting. He then returned to install the lighting once the cabinets were in place, and later provided and installed a new electrical panel that was needed as part of the renovation. Hunter was incredibly kind, professional, knowledgeable, and dependable throughout the entire process. We really appreciated how easy he was to work with and how carefully he handled each part of the project. Our under-cabinet lighting turned out beautifully, and we are so happy with all of his work. We will definitely use him again for any future electrical projects and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician!
